About your leather
Leather is a natural material that softens, relaxes and develops character over time. Natural markings, grain variations and subtle creasing are part of its beauty, and no two chairs are exactly alike. With regular care, your leather will stay supple and look good for years to come.
Caring for your leather
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to stop dirt settling into the grain.
Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Don't rub, as this can spread the liquid into the leather.
Use only cleaners and conditioners made specifically for upholstery leather, and always test on a hidden area first.
Avoid household cleaners, detergents, solvents, baby wipes and polishes, which can strip, dry or stain leather.
Condition every 6 to 12 months to keep the leather soft and supple and help prevent cracking.
Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade and dry out leather over time.
Place at least 30cm away from heaters, fireplaces and air conditioning vents.
Keep sharp objects, belt buckles, keys and pet claws away from the surface to avoid scratches.
Be mindful of dark or freshly dyed clothing such as new denim, which can transfer colour onto leather.
Caring for your cushions
Plump the back cushion regularly to keep its shape.
Smooth the seat by hand after use to keep it looking neat and tailored.
Avoid sitting on the arms, which can strain the frame and stretch the leather.
Caring for your timber base and legs
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed and dry immediately.
Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and silicone based polishes.
Keep away from heaters, fireplaces and air conditioning vents to prevent the timber drying or cracking.
Use felt pads under the legs to protect hard floors.
Good to know
Leather is a natural product, so colour, grain and texture may vary slightly from the images shown and from chair to chair. Timber is also a natural material, so slight variations in grain and tone are part of its character.
