We are furniture purists!

Our small team has worked as direct import furniture designers in Australia for more than 30 years having founded and ran the retail brand Vast Furniture for 25 years.

In 2024 we sold Vast and started this new company ITEM.

We saw a gap in the market to provide high end furniture without the showroom inflated price tags because in this digital age...who wants to pay a premium for huge fancy showrooms?

We have always focused on the quality of the ITEM that we are producing , ensuring that it exceeds customers expectations in terms of comfort, aesthetics and longevity. 

And that is why we started ITEM.

Made better, because we demand it from our manufacturers, and priced better because we have clever "kiosks" where you can view products without paying the showroom premium.

Initially we  have these kiosks in Miami ( Gold Coast) and Albion ( Brisbane) , and most recently Melbourne. 

We deliver daily and service the entire East coast of Australia.
