Hi , my name is Ross Clayton.

I have been an International furniture buyer for my previous retail brand Vast Furniture for over 25 years.

I know every reputable sofa manufacturer in Asia , and saw a gap in the market for high quality sofas without the huge showroom mark-up.

We buy the exact same sofas, from the exact same suppliers as ALL the higher priced big box retailers in Australia, BUT WE DONT HAVE THE HUGE OVERHEAD COSTS OF MARKETING AND LARGE FANCY SHOWROOMS, as this adds at least 50% to the cost of the sofa.

And that is why I started ITEM.

Made better, because we demand it from our manufacturers, and priced better because we have clever "kiosks" where you can view products without paying the showroom premium.

Initially we  have these kiosks in Miami ( Gold Coast) and Albion ( Brisbane) , and most recently Melbourne. 

We deliver daily and service the entire East coast of Australia.
